This series covers the capital cities of Balkan that I’ve visited so far. As I found out, the term Balkan (excluding the geographical Balkan peninsula) has a very broad definition in terms of historical and regional context. Therefore a more suitable title should be “Capital cities of southeastern Europe”. My goal is to eventually travel across the entire part of the region and keep continuously updating this article.
